A man of moral certitude

  • Print

Re: Wallin takes swing at government (Oct. 24). We are very fortunate we have a prime minister of such moral certitude that he knows, without any help from judges, that three senators have sinned and must be punished.

We are also fortunate the ranks of his equally certain members of Parliament will applaud and approve every word their leader utters.

But I am rather puzzled. Stephen Harper originally pronounced Sen. Pamela Wallin free from the sin of wrongful accounting. I suppose it takes a big man to admit a mistake.

If Stephen Harper can't cope with the fallout from the Senate scandal, he has an option he has used before when matters became too hot to handle.

He can prorogue Parliament and let the electorate decide who can quell this matter and lead our country out of this mess and embarrassment.

Finally our mayor, Ottawa politicians and senators are telling the truth. They are calling each other liars, and I believe that is the truth.
