Sen. Pamela Wallin is embroiled in the federal expense-claims scandal.

With regard to the ongoing events surrounding the senator expense-claims scandal as well as the election-campaign expense fiasco, I would suggest Stephen Harper take a page from the Liberal playbook.

First, he can appoint any one of the accused as ambassador to Denmark. Next, he can deploy another as democratic consultant to Syria. Another he can banish to Antarctica to study the sex habits of penguins. And still another can be deployed to Mexico as an immigration consultant.

The options are endless, and I encourage Harper to move on this quickly and award the affected parliamentarians their entitlements.
