Giant leap for mankind
Re: Murdoch not ready to fade away (Aug. 27). NASA's great success, in 1969, of landing the first man on the moon, appears to have been outdone by a worldwide tabloid story of 2012, Prince Harry cavorting naked in Las Vegas.
At the ripe old age of 81, News International media mogul Rupert Murdoch has single-handedly engineered a feat that is much more impressive than NASA's achievement, though admittedly with far less meaning: he successfully landed a moon on the Sun.
