Hey there, time traveller!

I had the pleasure of taking an early morning stroll over the Disraeli active-transportation bridge. I enjoyed exploring the various pedestrian sidewalks that seemed to travel in every direction. What a treat, and what a grand view of the Red River from the overlook stations.
The landscaping is beautiful and will only get better as the trees and shrubs mature. Even the noise from the cars streaming over the bridge seemed minimal, probably blocked by the high arching concrete walls of the vehicular bridge.
I also appreciate the beautiful welcoming berms at the entrances to both Elmwood and Point Douglas. Kudos to all the architects and engineers, the working crews that did the installations, and to the city planners who put it all together.
