Great waste of Waverley
Re: Waverley West family looks afield for school (Aug. 13). So the parents of preschoolers in the massive Waverley West development are demanding to know "will their kids ever be able to walk to school?"
They should go speak to the Waverley Waste developers, Mayor Sam Katz and all others who approved of that godawful suburban sprawl. Otherwise, have no argument.
They chose to move there. They chose to be part of the problem of urban sprawl. They chose to move to where there are no schools or other public amenities. Here's an idea: sell and move to where there are. Too inconvenient? Too bad.
