Happy talk about trash
I know that many people have experienced glitches and challenges with the new garbage-collection system in Winnipeg. Our experience has been very positive.
Pickup has gone as scheduled. I love having only two bins, one for garbage and one for recycling. Before, I was using at least two garbage bins and three recycling bins.
I love having the two bins in our garage for the week ahead. It's so easy to put the recycling in the bin and add the garbage to the bin. There is excellent capacity in the bins and good wheels to take the bins to the street.
The system has also added to our level of recycling. It just goes to show that all trash talk is not garbage.
