Gilmore Junio's sacrifice for teammate Denny Morrison has many saying he should be the Canadian flag-bearer at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony.

I couldn't agree more with the opinion expressed about Canadian Olympic speed-skater Gilmore Junio in the editorial True Olympian (Feb. 13).

If I knew how, I would start a "Gilmore Junio for flag-bearer" campaign on social media. If anyone out there knows how, I would "like" the Facebook page or do whatever the equivalent is on Twitter.

Consider this a challenge to all of you social-media-savvy Olympic fans.
