Never mind the hooligans

  • Print

Re: Why let Bomber fans play hooligan game? (Sept. 12). The Blue Bombers' high-tech security surveillance cameras are not there to catch hooligans assaulting women and making kids cry, as columnist Gordon Sinclair suggests. They are there to catch miscreants who were successful in sneaking in a bottle of water or package of candy so as to avoid paying the absurd prices the Bombers are asking in their concession stands.

And, by the way, the Bombers had previously said there would be water fountains to fill containers free of charge. There is one water fountain on the whole west-side upper deck. Yet there is an ATM every 50 feet screaming for us to take out our money to spend there.
