Of aggies and cat's eyes

Re: These marbles aren't for rolling (Aug. 1). Because I was an ardent marble player, along with my seven siblings, many, many years ago, viewing these wonderful marble spheres put me in marble heaven.

I can still picture us all traipsing through the door with our blue-velvet whiskey drawstring bags of marbles in hand, ready to play a vicious game of marbles, with hopes of filling our bags even more.

Thank you for the memories.
