Sinclair misjudges youth
Re: Young don't even see smoke of city hall fire (Sept. 27). Gordon Sinclair's sample of young people spans a handful of diner servers and three more people in and around a supermarket. I suggest this is a slightly unrepresentative sample.
Many young people in this country are very active politically and are involved in myriad issues outside of the local political spectrum. Youth care about and are aware of probably more than elder generations would assume.
Should Sinclair search on Twitter for "Trudeau?" or "Sam Katz," he might be surprised by the depth of engagement.
