Letter of the Day
Still a passing chance
Before Joe Mack, Tim Burke and Blue Bomber fans give up on Joey Elliott, they should consider this: The great CFL Hall of Fame quarterback Bernie Faloney holds the record for most interceptions thrown in a game.
On the exact same date in 1958 that Elliott had all those pickoffs against Calgary (Oct. 13), Faloney threw seven interceptions. Faloney also holds the record for most TDs and most passes completed in a Grey Cup game. He was the Eastern Conference all-star quarterback five times. I hope the Bombers give Joey a chance to do the same.
