Letter of the Day

The eye of an artist

I'd like to congratulate Joe Bryksa on his many prize-winning photos published in the Free Press.

Coming across his Sept. 5 photo Horsey set has prompted me to write. What a marvellous eye this artist has for the beautiful and the humorous.

His snowman leaning on a park bench is clipped to the front of my fridge, causing me to smile every time I reach for the handle.

And speaking of humour, kudos to the headline writers who come up with the sometimes sly, always apt, usually witty, story captions.
