Letter of the Day
Urbanists' foggy logic
With great amusement, I read the Sept. 11 letter praising Taz Stuart and thanking him for eliminating mosquitoes (Worth his weight in skeeters).
I live an hour and half from Winnipeg, in a rural area. We have no fogging, no Taz Stuart, no Sam Katz and, during this past summer, very few mosquitoes.
We have been able to garden, swim, canoe and hike without applying insect repellent.
Do people in Winnipeg really believe Stuart has the ability to eradicate mosquitoes from the whole province?
