Winnipeg police are looking for a suspect after a Transcona woman was robbed in her home.
Police responded to a Regent Avenue home following the report of a residential robbery on Feb. 21. The female victim told officers she was alone at the residence during the afternoon when a male suspect gained entry to the home.
The suspect attacked the victim and then left the scene on foot.
He is described as a Caucasian male in his late 20s standing 5-9 to 5-10 tall with a medium build, brown eyes, and scruffy brown and orange-coloured facial hair. The suspect was wearing an oversized black hoodie with a pocket in the front, old blue jeans, and beige work boots.
As the Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate, anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
