Jenn Lusby, account executive for Canstar Community News, was one of the brave souls who rappelled 200 feet down the 17-storey RBC Building at 220 Portage Ave. on Aug. 15 for the 2013 Easter Seals Drop Zone fundraising event. Lusby, seen dressed as Mario of Super Mario Bros., raised $2,000 toward the $3,500 brought in by her team ‘J2,’ with teammate Jennifer Sutherland. This year’s Drop Zone was projected to raise a total of $150,000. The money raised from the event will go toward vital programs and services that help more than 47,000 children, youth and adults with disabilities in Manitoba.
