Over the last 20 years, we have seen a dramatic rise in infertility rates among young couples. Consequently, fertility clinics and similar establishments have cropped up all over the country.
The emotional and financial toll on couples that simply want to start a family can be devastating.

What amazes me is that the chiropractic profession has been getting incredible results and yet, there has been very little media attention given to the latest research in chiropractic and infertility.

As recently as August of last year, a new study published in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal, and Family Health — Chiropractic followed the case of a 29-year-old female who had been receiving fertility treatments for eight years, when she became pregnant after only four months of chiropractic care. That’s now 14 studies in total that show similar results!

To put this in perspective: If there existed a fertility drug with the same proven success rate as chiropractic for infertility, it would be considered a "miracle drug." At the same time, I wonder how many couples could have benefited from chiropractic care before spending tens of thousands of dollars on fertility treatments?

The reason chiropractic works so well for infertility is that it restores proper function to the spine and nervous system, which controls every organ tissue and cell in your body.

However, if the spine should shift out if it’s normal alignment, it will put pressure on the delicate nervous system. It is suspected that when the nerves in the lower spine that control the organs of reproduction become impinged and irritated, fertility can be compromised.

Chiropractic helps correct this problem and helps restore proper function and healing to the body, without drugs or surgery. Your body knows how to be healthy: When the nervous system works at 100%, your body can function, heal and repair itself properly. In this case, fertility issues resolve.

If you or someone you know is suffering the emotional distress of infertility, they need to know that chiropractic can help!
