The Headingley and Macdonald 55 Plus groups are inviting all local seniors to join in their holiday festivities.

The Headingley 55 Plus Club is holding a Christmas lunch at noon on Dec. 3 in the Headingley Community Centre. As well as enjoying a meal of turkey, ham, vegetables, dessert and more, participants can enter a silent auction and enjoy some entertainment.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from Rose LeClair at 204-889-2288 or Seniors Resource Co-ordinator Patti Cutts at 204-889-3132. The deadline to order tickets is Nov. 26.

Macdonald Services to Seniors is holding a Christmas lunch on Dec. 6 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre. The lunch includes door prizes, entertainment, a rainbow auction and a 50/50 draw.

Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance by calling Larry Manson 204-736-4059, Wendy Manness 204-736-4515, Bernice Valcourt 204-736-2614 or Seniors Resource Co-ordinator Leanne Wilson 204-735-3052.
