Residents of Headingley's new Deerpoint subdivision may see a fountain through their windows.
RM of Headingley councillors are negotiating with the subdivision's developer to place and pay for aeration pumps in the area's three retention ponds. The pumps are needed to prevent algae growth on the ponds in hot weather.
The pumps could be connected to fountains to provide a pleasing view.
