Lots to see and do at the 2012 Red River Ex
It won’t be just the rides that will bring people into this year’s Red River Exhibition.
The 2012 Red River Ex kicked off June 15 and will continue until Sun., June 24.
Chief executive officer Garth Rogerson said there are so many new things to see this year that visitors won’t have any choice but to enjoy themselves.
"There is so much new this year it is hard to explain it all," he said. "As you move around the park you are going to see new things in every area of the park."
Some of those new attractions include the Timberworks Lumberjack show, the Flying Fools High Dive Show, the Extreme Arm Wrestling Challenge and Animals of the Rainforest.
New to the Midway is the Nitro Roller Coaster, Canada’s largest travelling roller coaster, and the Twister.
"Just about every 20 feet there is something to see and do," Rogerson said. "There is tons of free entertainment, lots for the family and lots of great food."
This year’s musical guests include Jason McCoy, The Sheepdogs, Dragonette, Tom Cochrane and The Backyardigans.
