Fun for families
KidsFest is planned for June 7 and 8 at the La Salle Community Centre with a barbecue, family movie and fireworks on Friday evening and a pancake breakfast, petting zoo, live entertainment, soccer tournament, games and other activities on Saturday.
A Summer Kick-Off social is planned from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for those 18 years and over. Ticlets are available at Jeni’s Food & Hardware.


Join the fun in St. Francois Xavier
The St. Francois Xavier Community Club’s annual summer barbecue is planned for June 8. A children’s bicycle parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Cuthbert Grant Park. There will be children’s activities and a beer garden at the Comunity Club, with fireworks at dusk.

Picnicking in Starbuck
The annual Starbuck Picnic will be held on June 15 and includes a ball tournament, pancake breakfast, bike rally, kid’s activities and pork supper.  Events are being held at the Starbuck Hall and Starbuck Rink.

Celebrate with your neighbors
A street party  is planned for the village of Domain on June 22 at the Domain Hall grounds starting at 4 p.m. A potluck supper and other activities are planned. For information, call Gavin Harrison at 204-736-2977.

Headingley seniors celebrate
Headingley Seniors Services is holding a barbecue lunch on June 25 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Headingley Community Centre, followed by games. Please reserve a spot by phoning Patti at 204-889-3132 ext. 3.
