All are welcome to attend the Starbuck 4-H Family Bingo Night on Feb. 8 at the Starbuck Community Hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 7 p.m. The canteen will be open and there will be a silent auction, door prizes and 50/50. Free babysitting is available. Admission is $2.50.

The Headingley 4-H Club is holding a communications event, with all members giving a speech or visual presentation, on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. in the Headingley United Church. All are welcome.

Hockey featured at Carnival
The Phoenix Winter Carnival will be held February 11 to 17 at the Phoenix Community Centre in Headingley. The Headingley Phoenix  Recreation Association is hosting nine 5/6 teams and 12 7/8 teams.  Cost is $250 per 5/6 team and $300 per 7/8 team.  Teams are guaranteed four games. The Headingley United Church Players are performing their final production, Wash Your Troubles Away on Feb. 15 to 18 and Feb. 21 to 23 at the Headingley Community Centre.

Enjoying the winter
The St. Francois Xavier Community Club invites everyone to attend their Winter Carnival on Feb. 17. There will be winter games, skating, and sleigh rides. Chili, pea soup, bannock and more are on the menu.

Hurry hard in La Salle
The La Salle Curling Club’s mized bonspiel runs from Feb. 21 to 24. The $180 entry fee includes a meal and Calcutta.
