Socializing over good food
The St. Eustache Young at Heart Club invites  local seniors to come out for dinner every Friday night at 5:30 p.m. at St. Eustache Community Hall. Please call 204-353-4532.

Eating in support of child care
The Prairie Sky Child Care Center in Elie is holding a fundraising spaghetti dinner at  the Elie Vet’s Hall on April 12. Money raised will be used for renovations. Call Jane at 204-353-4455 to purchase tickets.

Raising money for charities
The All Charities Fundraiser/Flea Market will be held in Starbuck Community Hall on April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.   This  event includes a bake sale, lunch and silent auction.
Table rental is $10 plus a silent auction item. Contact Sandra Halstead at 204-735-2474 or Nancy Dyck  at 204-735-2450 to book a table.

Music is in the air
Starbucks’ Kids Community Theatre Group will perform in the musical, Adventures of a Comic Book Artist, by Pioneer Drama Services. Performances will be held in Starbuck Community Hall on April 13 at 7 p.m. and April 14 at 2 p.m..
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Dawn ‘til Dusk. For more information, contact Valerie at 204 -735-3139.

Dining out Italian style
The La Salle Parish Spring Fling spaghetti dinner is planned for April 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the La Salle Community Centre. Children four and under are free. The cost for five to eight-year-olds is $4,while those age nine and over must pay $10.

Elvis is in the house
The Young at Heart Seniors are hosting the Adam T. Elvis Show and guest Johnny Cash with the Good Rockin’ Tonite Band at the St. Eustache Community Hall on May 4 at 7 p.m. Adam T. Elvis has performed in Nashville and Memphis.
 Tickets are $20, and includes lunch and door prize. To reserve tickets call 204-353-4538 or 204-353-4532.
