Cartier Senior Citizens Support Committee is holding its annual general meeting and elections on May 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Elie Manor.  Everyone is welcome to attend and join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner is $6. Please call by Lin at 204-353-2470 or email  cscsc@mymts.net by May 17.

Raising funds for Cartier
A pancake supper fundraiser for the Senior Citizens Support Committee will be held on May 23 at Elie Manor from 5 to 6:30 p.m.  The cost for adults is $6 and $3 for children.

The Headingley Municipal Library is holding a Pajama Story Time for children on May 24 from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Showcasing local crafts
St. Eustache Community Centre is organizing a craft/vendor sale on May 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested vendors please call 204-353-4457. Tables are $20. Come out for lunch and shopping.

Run or walk for charity
The Headingley Fire Department is holding its 13th annual 5 km run/3 km walk on May 25. Both events take place at 9 a.m. at the Headingley Fire Department at 126 Bridge Rd. Proceeds raised will benefit the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation.  Following the run/walk, there will be music, food and prizes.
