Eustache Young at Heart Club invites local seniors to come out for dinner every Friday night at 5:30 p.m. at St. Eustache Community Hall.

St. Eustache Community Centre is hosting a Bud, Spud and Steak dinner fundraiser on April 13 for $12 per person. Please call 204-353-4457 for tickets.

Schoenfelder Ladies Fellowship members are holding their Spring Luncheon on April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2256 Hwy 26 in St. Francois Xavier.

Brush off your tux
The St. Francois Xavier Community Club members are holding their annual gala on April 13. The theme for this year is ‘007’ and it is a black tie event.
The meal includes appetizers, salad,  main course and dessert. Tickets are $75 per person, $140 per couple, and $500 per table of eight. To order tickets, call 204-864 2260.

Raising money for charities
The All Charities Fundraiser/Flea Market will be held in Starbuck Community Hall on April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This  event includes a bake sale, lunch and silent auction.

Learn about Middle Eastern life
The United Church Meridian Pastoral Charge invites you to an informational evening about the realities on the ground in Palestine and Israel on April 15 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Sanford United Church.  Dianne Baker, Ecumenical Accompanier with the World Council of Churches, will give a slide presentation.  For more information, call Reverend Cathy Maxwell at 204-831-9709.

Learning while lunching
Headingley Seniors Services is holding a lunch and learn sessiion on April 16 at noon. Corporal McDonald from the Headingley RCMP detachment will speak about scams targeted at seniors.
