Serving seniors in Cartier

The Cartier Senior Citizens Support Committee would like to welcome all residents age 55 and over in Elie, St. Eustache. St. Francois Xavier, Fannystelle, Dakota and Springsteen to participate in their April activities.


You can stay in shape by attending a weekly fitness class held at 10:30 a.m. on Mondays at Elie Manor. This is followed by whist at 1 p.m. A nickel bingo scheduled at 1 p.m. on Fridays.


Shuffle and carpet bowling are held at 1:30 p.m. in the Elie Vets Hall. A come-and-go lunch for $3 is planned at 11:30 a.m. on April 11 in the hall.


Scout out the new spring fashions during a shopping trip to Winnipeg on April 9. The van will leave at 11 a.m. from Elie Manor and the cost is $10. Shopping and a matinee are scheduled on April 23 for a $5 fee, with the van leaving at 11 a.m. A lunch at Whitehorse Emporium is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. on April 16.


A potluck dinner and cards evening is being held at St. Eustache Manor at 5:30 p.m. on April 30.
