A group of local artists will be selling their works to support the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
The Local Colour Art Group will hold a show from May 3 to 5 at the Elmwood East Kildonan Active Living Centre at 180 Poplar Ave. Hours for the show are 7 to 9 p.m. on May 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 4, and noon to 4 p.m. on May 5.
In all, 30 artists have contributed pieces to the show, which has a nostalgia theme.
The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba was founded over 25 years ago and works to provide those afflicted with dementia the greatest quality of life, help the family of an affected person, and provide information about the disease. For more information on the organization, visit www.alzheimer.mb.ca.
