Bottle & Cork location opens at Northdale

  • Print

Wine lovers in northeast Winnipeg have a new reason to clink glasses.

The city’s second Bottle & Cork location opened in the Northdale Liquor Mart (A-965 Henderson Hwy.) on Aug. 19. The store allows customers to purchase wine in bulk at a reduced price. The other location is in Linden Woods at 1650 Kenaston Blvd. and opened in 2012 after moving from its original Ness Avenue spot.

Wine is sold in cases of 12 bottles of 750 ml, and wines can be mixed and matched according to customer preference. Customers may bring in their own sterilized 750 ml glass, corkable wine bottles or purchase a case of 12 for $11.99 plus tax.

Five wines are available at $6.29 per bottle, the least expensive options at the store.

Bottle & Cork is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
