Elder abuse webinars planned

A trio of webinars discussing elder abuse are slated in the coming weeks.

The first, on April 2, will talk about how to identify and prevent financial abuse. The second, on May 7, covers topics related to World Elder Abuse Day on June 15, and the final one, on June 4, will have speakers from the Winnipeg Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police detailing when police intervention is necessary, and what role they play. All sessions take place from noon to 1 p.m. and are free.

Those checking out the conference can do so by teleconference and internet conference, or by Internet conference only. Register at www.mercuri.ca/portal/AO.
