Henderson gas bar robbed

The Winnipeg Police Service is seeking two suspects after a robbery during the Canada Day long weekend.

Shortly after midnight on June 30, two male suspects, one armed with a weapon, entered a gas bar in the 900 block of Henderson Highway demanding cash and cigarettes. The pair received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, and the attendant was not injured.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian, in his early 20s, and is five-foot-eight to five-foot-nine with a medium build. The second is described as Caucasian, in his early 20s, six-feet to six-foot-one with a medium build.

As the Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate, anyone with information is encouraged to call investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
