Northeast Winnipeg legions will mark the service of veterans on Nov. 11.
• In Transcona, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 7 will hold its remembrance parade beginning at the legion (117 Regent Ave. E.) at 10:30 a.m. The parade will go to the Blessed Sacrament Parish at 710 Roanoke St. for a service beginning at 11 a.m. The public is welcome to take part.
• In Elmwood, there will be a service at the Elmwood Cemetery Field of Honour from 9:55 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. followed by a service from 10:55 a.m. to noon at the Royal Canadian Legion Elmwood Branch No. 9 at 920 Nairn Ave.
• In East Kildonan, the Royal Canadian Legion Prince Edward Branch No. 81 will have its service at the St. Alphonsus Hall (341 Munroe Ave.) at 10 a.m. After the service, a luncheon will be served at the legion (300 Trent Ave.)
