Winnipeg police have made two arrests in connection with a gas bar robbery in North Kildonan in June.
Police responded to the gas bar, located in the 900 block of Henderson Highway, shortly after midnight on June 30. They were informed that earlier two men, one armed with a weapon, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
The Major Crimes Unit identified and arrested two suspects in the robbery.
Nineteen-year-old Mitchell Grant David Giasson of Winnipeg was arrested on July 5 and detained at the Provincial Remand Centre after being charged with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, and fail to comply with condition recognizance.
On July 25, 18-year-old Chase Brian William Campbell of Winnipeg was arrested and detained at the Provincial Remand Centre after being charged with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, fail to comply with condition recognizance, failure to comply with sentence, and two counts of breach of probation.
