RETSD schools to host information nights

Schools within the River East Transcona School Division will be holding parent information nights throughout February to prepare parents for the 2013-14 school year.
The sessions are designed for parents who want to help their children make appropriate course selections.
The secondary school sessions are scheduled as follows:
• River East Collegiate – Feb. 13 – 7 p.m. (academic); Feb. 19 – 7 p.m. (advanced placement).
• College Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau – Feb. 20 – 7 p.m.
• Transcona Collegiate – Feb. 20 – 7 p.m.
• Miles Macdonell Collegiate – Feb. 20 – 7 p.m. (international baccalaureate); Feb. 21 – 7 p.m. (academic, vocational and French immersion).
• Murdoch MacKay Collegiate – Feb. 21 – 6:30 p.m. (advanced placement); Feb. 21 – 7 p.m. (academic and vocational)
• Kildonan-East Collegiate – Feb. 27 – 7 p.m. (academic and vocational); Feb. 27 – 8 p.m. (advanced placement)
Meanwhile, middle years nights are scheduled as follows:
• Robert Andrews School – Feb. 6 – 6 p.m.
• Salisbury Morse Place School – Feb. 7 – 6:30 p.m.
• Arthur Day Middle School – Feb. 12 – 6 p.m.
• Valley Gardens Middle School – Feb. 12 – 6 p.m.
• John Pritchard School – Feb. 13 – 7 p.m.
• John W. Gunn Middle School – Feb. 13 – 7 p.m.
• Munroe Junior High School – Feb. 13 – 7 p.m. (English and Gr. 7 late French immersion)
• John Henderson Junior High School – Feb. 19 – 6:30 p.m.
• Chief Peguis Junior High School – Feb. 20 – 6 p.m.
• Ecole Regent Park School – Feb. 25 – 7 p.m.
