Spaghetti strength
The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba presents a cheque to Winnipeg Harvest to cover the cost of 12,305 pounds of spaghetti at Kildonan Place on March 9. The Grant Park-based organization generated that total through its Spaghetti Bridge Building Competition, as the entries in the contest bore 12,305 pounds of weight. Canada Safeway and Peak of the Market matched the donation.
