Cameron McRae wields a shovel as Ami Hayward, and McRae’s father Curtis, mother Jodie, and sister Lexie plant trees during the 305 Winnipeg Sparks’ tree-planting evening at East Kildonan Centennial Park on July 18. The evening saw approximately 40 Sparks, family members, and members of the Northeast Pioneers Greenway plant about 50 wild rose, dogwood, saskatoon, and snowberry trees at the park. The project received funding from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
