  • Print

The Winnipeg Pops Orchestra will make an appearance in northeast Winnipeg.

The orchestra will settle in for Classics, Carols and Cookies, an evening of Christmas carols, light classical and popular music at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish (264 Donwood Dr.) on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.

The orchestra, comprised of over 45 volunteer musicians under the direction of Mary Ann Taylor has performed at several venues around the city.

Tickets for the show are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and are available at the church or at Stephanchew Church Goods (337 William Ave.). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the St. Benedict Foundation to support its ministries helping the unemployed and those living with HIV and AIDS.
