Many community members turned out for St.Amant Foundation’s annual Free the Spirit Festival, presented by National Bank, on Sept. 21.
The family-focused festival is intended to raise awareness and funds for children and adults living with developmental disabilities and autism.
Many events and activities took place at the festival, including a walkathon where St.Amant’s staff, clients, friends and families who collected pledges walked along River Road to St. Mary’s Road and back.
The walkathon was kicked off by Olympic silver medal-winning rower Janine Hanson, a former employee at St.Amant School.
