The ALS Society of Manitoba’s Annual Walk for ALS is taking place at Assiniboine Park on Sat., May 31 at 10 a.m.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. at the southeast picnic area, which is also where people are told to meet.
Those interested in participating in the five-kilometre walk can still register at walkforals.ca or call the ALS Society of Manitoba (493 Madison St.) at 204-831-1510.
The goal this year is to raise $250,000. Last year, the walk raised $210,000 to support people living with ALS in Manitoba and to help fund research, according to a release.
