What do you get when you cross an owl with a bald eagle?
The answer, in this case, is a two-session art course run by the Continuing Education Department of the Louis Riel School Division.
The classes will be held on two Mondays, starting on Oct. 28 between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. in the arts rooms at Collège Jeanne-Sauvé, located at 1128 Dakota St.
Organizers say participants will learn to draw the owl in graphite and use an eraser to create the effect of soft feathers and foliage. Participants will also use watercolour pencils to portray a bald eagle in flight.
The course costs $39 and there will be a material fee of $10, which will be payable to the instructor in class. To register, call 204-237-8130.
