  • Print

Community members are invited to have their say about the evolution of a landmark local greenway.

Organizers at Bishop Grandin Greenway will hold the organization’s annual general meeting on Wed., June 19 at the Youville Centre in St. Vital, located at 6-845 Dakota St.

"The public is more than welcome to attend," said the organization’s president Michelle Meade. "All of the things we are trying to do are to enhance the greenway and the area."

The greenway is an accessible network of natural areas and public pathways situated along Bishop Grandin Boulevard in southeast Winnipeg, which includes community gardens, naturalized retention ponds and multi-use trails.

Bishop Grandin Greenway’s Between 2 Rivers Trails Day event was held recently on June 1 to mark International Trails Day and included numerous family-friendly activities.
