Family literacy days coming to libraries
Visitors can soon expect a whole lot of family fun at three southeast Winnipeg libraries.
Family Literacy Fun Days will be held at St. Vital Library (6 Fermor Ave.) on Mon., March 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. and at Louis Riel Library (1168 Dakota St.) and Windsor Park Library (955 Cottonwood Rd.) on Tues., March 26 between 2 and 4 p.m.
Organizers say the whole family is invited to the drop-in sessions, where visitors will be able to move between multiple stations and participate in games and activities to promote the playful use of reading, writing and language skills.
