Community members, music lovers and fashionistas across the city can soon celebrate a Winnipeg musical institution in high style.
To mark the 65th anniversary of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s first performance, the Women’s Committee of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra will hold its Tea & Fashion Show fundraiser on Sun., April 14 at 2 p.m. at the Norwood Hotel (112 Marion St.) in St. Boniface.
The event will include a door prize, raffle and musical entertainment. Fashions will be provided by Investment Pieces and hairstyles and makeup will be courtesy of Edward Carriere Salon.
Tickets are $50 (with a partial tax receipt) and are available at the music stand at WSO concerts and by calling Margaret at 204-219-5974.
