It’s time to get those cameras rolling.

On Screen Manitoba, Manitoba Film and Music, and the National Screen Institute is inviting Manitoba filmmakers to submit a short film or video — maximum length 15 minutes — for a public outdoor screening on Sat., Feb. 22 during Festival du Voyageur.

Organizers say there are two planned programs, one for a family audience and one for a broader audience, which will each be played several times throughout the evening. The final selection will include productions in both French and English.

To submit your short piece, send your name, phone number, project title, running time and a short synopsis, as well as an online link and password to preview you film, to katy@onscreenmanitoba.com with the subject line "submission" by Thurs., Jan. 30.

Successful candidates will be contacted by Mon., Feb. 10, while unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. If your film is selected, you will receive a modest artist fee, organizers say.
