The artistic skills of Louis Riel School Division students are currently being showcased at St. Vital Centre.
The division’s annual ‘Fine Arts in Action’ exhibition at the centre, which will run until May 13, is an interactive art exhibition that gives students an opportunity to share their talents with the community, organizers say.
Work by Kindergarten to Grade 8 students is being showcased in a store outside the Bay, while work by high school students can be located in a store near the centre’s food court.
There will also be a special event on Mother’s Day (May 12), when art students, in partnership with the centre, will offer a special gift to first 100 mothers who attend the exhibition. The mall will be open at 11 a.m. that day for the event.
