There will be several events for southeast Winnipeggers on Nov. 11 to mark Remembrance Day.
These include events at the Royal Canadian Legion Norwood St. Boniface Branch No. 43 (134 Marion St.) and the Belgian Veterans’ Association, Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 107 (407 Provencher Blvd.).
At Branch No. 43, there will be a 10:15 a.m. start for a parade to St. Philip’s Anglican Church (240 Tache Ave.) for a service at 11 a.m. After the service, participants will march back to the Legion for lunch and refreshments, organizers say.
