  • Print

A local group for dog lovers is preparing to hold its annual general meeting.

The Maple Grove Dog Park Owners’ Association will hold its AGM on Wed., Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at St. Vital Mustangs Clubhouse at the park, which is located at 190 Frobisher Rd. in south St.
Vital. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Organizers say the event will give association members the opportunity to voice their opinions and elect a board of directors. There are also some volunteer positions available at the park.

On the night, the agenda will include a review of the minutes of last year’s AGM, reports from the association’s co-chair and treasurer, a review of MGDPA’s activities during the past 12 months including a parking lot improvement project, the nomination and election of officers, and a general discussion.

According to the organization’s website, MGPDOA is a "non-profit organization that aims to provide a safe, friendly, and clean environment for dogs of all sizes to play and enjoy the outdoors."
