The participants of this year’s event, which is titled the Road to the Rockies, left Jasper on July 3 and are set to arrive in Winnipeg on July 13 at the site of the 34th Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project, when President Carter and Mrs. Carter will be at the build site to welcome the riders home.
The flagship fundraiser for the St. Boniface-based organization gives participants the chance to help a low-income family own its first home.
