If you head to St. Boniface museum next week, you could be in for a spooky surprise.

The museum, located at 494 Tache Ave., will host its Spooks and Specters event on Wed., Oct. 23 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in French and on Fri., Oct. 25 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in English.

Organizers say visitors to the Halloween-themed event will see spine-tingling stories of the supernatural come to life, as tales of ghosts, devils and animal spirits will fill the halls with eerie sights and sounds during this special presentation of local myths and legends that will engage all of your senses.

Tickets are only available in advance and cost $10 for adults, $8 for students/seniors and $5 for members. To reserve tickets, call 204-986-8496 or visit the museum during regular hours. The event is suitable for individuals aged 14 and older, organizers say.
