Premier Greg Selinger (second from left) announces a new playground for
Bois-des-esprits Window Park on Aug. 7, along with Minister of Advanced Education and Literacy and MLA for Southdale Erin Selby (left), Minister of Local Government Ron Lemieux (second from right), and Denis Gautron, president of Save our Seine (far right). The playground, the construction of which is expected to begin in spring 2014, will conform to the city’s "universal design standards for accessibility," according to a release.

The release states the province will provide up to $100,000 for the construction, with the money coming from the Building Manitoba Fund, while the city will cover the playground’s maintenance costs.
