Community members with an appetite for supporting history may want to attend an upcoming fundraising breakfast.

The St. Vital Historical Society will hold its annual pancake breakfast event on Sat., May 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the St. Vital Museum, located in the old fire hall at 600 St. Mary’s Rd.

The event will be catered by Smitty’s restaurant (7-150 Meadowood Dr.) and admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for children aged 12 and under, organizers say.

Anyone interested in becoming a member of the society, or donating to the museum, should email info@svhs.ca or call 204-255-2864.
