Many visitors turned out for the St. Vital Agricultural Society’s long-running display and fair, which was held on Aug. 14 and 15 at St. Vital Centennial Arena.

The year’s 104th annual event featured judged competitions for all age groups in categories such as vegetables, flower arranging, painting, photography, baking and handicrafts, including crocheting, knitting and sewing.

There were also agricultural-based displays, historical showcases relevant to St. Vital, a display from the Manitoba Orchid Society, a performance by the singing duo of Fire and Ice and a pork barbecue.
